1. Amazing, this is Addressable Digital RGB COB LED Pixel Strip. Not the single color COB led strip.
2. The COB led strips biggest advantage is no glare, beautiful appearance,soft luminous surface, without spot that compared to the classical addressable rgb pixel led strips like ws2812b,sk6812 led strips
3. The LEDs are controlled by shift-registers that are chained up and down the tape so you can shorten or lengthen the tape.
4. SK6812 RGB LED chip is soldering on the PCB directly, on the top, glue the silicone.
5. The strip is made of flexible PCB material, you can cut this stuff pretty easily with wire cutters on the back side of PCB, there are cut-lines .Solder to the 0.1" copper pads and you're good to go.
6. If the strip does get damaged, it is often one led copper unit broken, in such case, cutting of this copper unit segment and resoldering the rest copper units together brings the strip back to life.
