1. The side emitting LED strips, as we known, there are single color side emitting LED strips like 3014 side view led strips; The RGB side emitting LED strips are 020 or 335 RGB side view led strips. But we never saw the digital RGB side emitting LED strips before SK6812 4020 come out. 

But SK6812 4020 LED strip is the IC integrated inside 4020 package LED that determin this LED only 5V application. 

2. This 12V digital side emitting RGB led strip we choose the SMD4713 RGB LED to make it. 3 LEDs per group to program via WS2811 IC. 

3.This is 12V digital Side view RGB pixel led strip 60leds/m with bare board or clearing case and white / black flex pcb. These LED strips are fun and glowy. 

4. The LED is “split”, it is side emitting color with 4.7×1.3mm. Lit up these are insanely bright and can be controlled with 8-bit PWM per channel. Great for adding lots of colorful to your project.

5. 12V ws2811 side emitting RGB pixel led strip USE 800 KHz protocol so specific timing is required. 

6. Compared to other sk6812 4020 series LEDs, SK6812 side 4020 LEDs has 4 pin even it’s quite thin size, and the Pins are almost covered by the LED’s body, it’s hard to replace LED if any of broken.

But this SMD4713 RGB LED, it has 6 pins even its shorter than the SK6812 4020 RGB LED, would be much stable. 

7. Regarding the brightness, SMD4713 RGB LED brightness is higher than the SK68120 4020 version.

2.You can think this 12V individually address GS8208 RGB 60 LED strip is the updated version of sk6812, ws2812b.

4. Compared to the brightness, this external 12V addressable RGB led strip have higher brightness than the integrated 12V addressable RGB led strip.
